A Little Amy Clark-Mary Esch-Blogging
Amy Clark had an exhibit of her pictures called A Painted Diary at the AZ Gallery in lowertown St. Paul. In addition to Amy's works...Mary Esch was also doing portraits in real time.

Amy said this painting, titled "Conservatory," is one of her favorites, but she had 32 pieces in various media at the exhibit, such as painted Adirondack chairs...

...paintings with blobs of color that aren't exactly pointillistic (blobilistic?)...

Mary drew this portrait in a matter of minutes...

...and here is the finished product...

There were also paintings by John Smaby and Lisa Renfroe. This one by Lisa Renfroe caught my son's attention (He referred to it as "that fire thing.")

You would be well rewarded to visit the AZ Gallery in St. Paul to see Amy's colorful paintings.
